Beautiful Outdoors

My failed attempt at getting a picture with my kids.

Our house in Oregon

Benjamin loves to talk about this house.  Remember, mom, we stayed out house #8 in Oregon?  Yes, Benjamin, I remember!

It was kind of different at this reunion, we stayed at separate houses.  It was fun having a house but I wish we could have seen everyone more.  Benjamin loved that there were trails close by for lots of walks and even a hot tub!  Oregon really is beautiful!

First day of School

So maybe I should earn the worst mom in the world award.  Luckily Rob is the Best dad in the world, so I didn't have to worry.  Robbie and Lauren didn't get to go to Oregon with us because they had their first day of school!  Rob helped them get up and ready and out the door.  I knew they were in good hands.  They had a great first day of school and loved meeting their teachers and all the new kids in their classes!

On the road to Oregon

Grandma, Grandpa, Lilly, Benjamin and I made the LOOOOOOOONG trek to Oregon.  It was a long drive but it was very adventurous.  Kids did great in the long car ride.
Notice the snow on the mountains!

Finally made it!

Yep.... still driving

Payson Lakes

We are so close to Payson lakes, and yet we hadn't gone so I was excited when we decided to take the drive up Payson canyon to check it out.

Kids had fun playing in the water and Robbie and Grandpa got some fishing in!

Bridal Veil Falls with Grandma and Grandpa

My cousin Adri was visiting so we decided to walk up to Bridal Veil Falls.  It was a hot day, so the kids were excited to take their shoes off and get their feet in the water.

Where's Robbie? :)

They have a new section where you can feed the fish.  Kids loved doing this.
Lots of fishies!
Kids had so much fun!

Robbie and Benjamin walking at the bottom of a waterfall!

Fishing with Grandpa

I love that Robbie gets so excited to go fishing with Grandpa!

Every time that Robbie finds out that Grandpa is coming to visit, one of the first things he asks is when they are going to go fishing!  The nice thing about living is Utah is that there are lots of opportunities to fish!
Benjamin tried to join in on the fun, but I think his fishing line was tangled beyond repair within the first few minutes!

Utah County Fair

My dad and I took the kids to the Utah County Fair.  It was HOT, but we had a lot of fun!

Lauren loved being able to make a had with Miss Pleasant Grove.

We had fun, but I will be honest with you.  It was a bit of a let down.  I miss the days, where you tried hard and got rewarded for it.

At the Utah Country Fair, every single thing entered had a ribbon on it.  Mostly first and second place ribbons.  There were multiple  items that were exactly the same, submitted from different people, and each one got a first place ribbon.  I guess if you got a 3rd place, yours must be really bad!
I thought these tomatoes were pretty awesome! :)

Amazing.  This is a cake!  Emily would have even been impressed.

Some of my favorite pictures....

I don't know if you can tell, but the kids are watching an airplane out the window.  I love this.  At Provo airport, you can experience what it was like to pick someone up from the airport when I was younger.  You can actually watch them walk off the plane and be there waiting for them.

We were picking up Grandpa and the kids were SO excited!

I think Grandpa was equally as excited!

Flying airplanes.

The weather has been so nice.  We like to go to the park as a family and play catch, soccer or run around.  Today, we decided to fly an airplane!  Kids had so much fun running around after it.
