Yippee!!!! IT'S A.....

Okay, okay...i'm going to be the meanest person ever and not tell. Actually the main reason that I am not going to tell is because we are only 80% sure....sure 80% sounds like a lot but I would hate the spread the word and have everyone buying us pink or blue and then have it be the 20%! It's okay, you only have to wait 6** more weeks! **until my next ultrasound appointment...not until the baby comes. :) (I'm only 13 weeks along)

So, as you can tell, I had my Genetic testing doctors appointment today. I opted out of getting these tests done with my last two pregnancies because I was scared to death of the giant needle that they stick into your stomach. I have been so nervous about this for the last couple of weeks. I finally got to my appointment, the doctor came in and I nervously asked him how much it was going to hurt. He laughed, and said, "it's just an ultrasound." Apparently...genetic testing doesnt include a big needle unless they find concerns with your ultrasound or blood test. Luckily, everything looked healthy with our ultrasound so we shouldn't have any concerns. Its amazing what they can do with technology these days. We were able to see the baby, we were able to see the blood flow in different areas, listen to the heart beat and even saw what it looked like in 4D. Pretty cool stuff. Rob came to this appointment with me because I was too sick to drive so he was able to see our cute little....baby. Here are some pictures of our little feels like too far down the road bundle.
