4 months

Wow, how time flys!  Today, Benjamin is 4 months old.  I cannot believe how quickly it is going.  He is a VERY happy baby. He loves to be held and giggles anytime he is around his daddy.  He really is a sweet baby.  This week we also started him on rice cereal.  He was very excited about this, and didn't take any time in learning how to eat with a spoon.  His first feeding, he ate a whole serving with no problem.  He had is 4 month appointment today.  It went well.  He hardly cried during his shots.  Lauren, on the other hand, cried a lot when her baby brother had to get stuck with a needle.  I love how much the kids love eachother.  Here's Benjamin:  Height:  24 1/2 inches - 50%
                     Weight:  14.3 3/4 -35%
                    Head: 424 cm -55%

Marina Del Rey

The kids had today off of school because of the holiday.  I didn't want to sit at home all day so we decided that we would go out.  We started my meeting Rob for lunch.  It's always nice to see him in the middle of the day since he has been working such long hours.  We sure miss him!  After that we decided to stop by Fisherman's Village in Marina Del Rey.  It is very small but a fun place to walk around if you only have a few hours.  We stayed for about two hours and enjoyed some walking, boats, ice cream and fun.  It's sure been a tough winter here with these cold temperatures.  Can't you tell!  We've been having rough 80 degree weather!  How can you stay inside with weather like that!

Benjamin

Lauren's ballet class

Lauren had her first day of ballet. She was so excited to go. Everyone that knows her, knows how much she loves dancing!!! She was very nervous but for the most part she did very well.

Grandpa loves Benjamin!!!

Anniversary

My parents were kind enough to babysit the kids for us so Rob and I could go on an anniversary date. It's not very often that we get to go on a date so I wanted to do something different then the normal movie and dinner. I was able to find a REALLY fun hotel and dinner show package. The package included a hotel night at the marriott and a mystery show and dinner. The food was okay but the play was awesome. It was really fun because it was very interactive and the actors served us our food. My parents had to deal with night feedings but we were very grateful for the date!

A day at the museum

We couldn't find anything to do so my mom was searching around at fun things to do in Southern California. We were hoping to find a children's museum but the one we liked was closed. She finally found a natural history museum that looked fun. We were a little concerned about the area but decided to give it a try. Let me just say, we find a real gem. This museum was AMAZING! We ended up buying a years family pass because we loved it so much. Here are some pictures:
