All I can say...is there is nothing cuter and more hilarious than slapping a uniform on a little kid and then telling them to go play a sport they have never played before!
Robbie was very excited to play t-ball. We went to his first practice and he loved it. To make a long story short....he signed up with a bunch of his friends but didnt end up on any of their teams...he was on the angels. THEN....we found out the Angels had all of their games on Sundays. So. We quit. Robbie cried. Mom felt horrible. Mom made lots of phone calls and found out about the Rangers. Rangers had almost all of their games on Saturdays and they needed another player. Can I say adorable?
Back to hilarious...Robbie's first practice consisted of catching and then batting. So...he was used to getting to the ball and throwing it to first base. So...up to bat for the first time, he swings...he hits the ball....err...about 5 feet in front of him....then without dropping the bat, with a huge smile on his face, he quickly runs to the ball, picks it up and throws it to first base. And he's out! :) He was so proud of how well he did and all the parents got a great laugh!
Robbie had is first game this last Saturday. It was very cute. They set this program up to build the confidence of the children. So basically, every inning everyone bats and everyone scores. It doesnt matter if the ball beats you to the base, you are still safe. This makes it fun for all of the kids and builds their confidence before little league when everything changes.
Well, for all of your enjoyment...my little Ranger. Can you tell which one he is? He is #10.

Warming up before the game...

Warming up his arm...he has a good little throw. You can see the ball in the air.

His team in the outfield. Robbie is in there somewhere...

Robbie's coach telling him to start running!

Running the bases..
Thats it for now. :)
